maybe this question has been asked before, I just couldn't find the thread.
These days with tons and tons of I-485 applications received every morning, how is USCIS gonna decide which one to process first?
If it's strictly on "first received, first processed" base, then it may well be that one guy with 3/07 PD date may have his application processed earlier (thus earlier AP and EAD) than one with 5/06 PD date. Simply because the 3/07 PD guy sent out the package much earlier than the 5/06 PD one.
Do I understand correctly?
Is this fair, though?

My I140 was originally filed at California service center, on 3/24/2006 it was transferred to Texas service center.

I have already sent my 485 application

In the field I94# and expiration I entered I 94 number which is on the white card on the passport and it is the same as the number on my renewed h1 papers.However I entered expiry date from the i94 on the passport,which is oct06 instead of the 010 date in the renewal.
will that be a problem..? CAN I CORRECT IT AFTER I get the reciept no or will thay be able to verify with the latest h1 paper that i94 is valid
The I94 number is in the database. When I94 was extended that information is entered in the database as well.

At least last October, they had client letter enforcement in place, it was impossible to have this kind of stupid transfers.

Last year I sent both the ITIN form and 1040 to the ITIN address. Once the ITIN is processed, they will update your 1040 with the ITIN number and forward it to the respective department for processing. I got my refund back after 8 weeks. Since I am in Texas I didnt have to file for state taxes..So not sure about the state tax filing part....

We had the same situation with my wife's H1-B. We spoke to the lawyer and he had forwarded us an e-mail reply from USCIS, stating that USCIS had decided to issue the validity of 797 from the date of adjudication or approved date rather than from the previous expired h1B date and this is not happening across all the cases. I also have applied at the same time as my wife's h1 and My h1b dates are matching.

I came to US on B2 10-year multiple visa, my I-94 is going to expire in a few weeks (first time extension approved ). My husband�s citizenship application has been pending for the past 10 months, it is in internal security check , so don't know how long it will take to clear.
What are the consequences if I over stay on my B1 visa for about 150 days, during which I apply for my I-130 and then go back to my home country and go for the consulor processing. Is this can be done? I got different opinions so confused. Would it impact my consular interview?
The hope is my husband�s citizenship would be approved before that and I might never have to leave the US.

I just want to confirm that this ruling is still in effect. Use AP to return as Parolee, never used EAD, can continue to work for same employer on approved H1B petition. Are there others in this situation as well?

I think one can leave US but one should come back with in 6 months if not there could be an issue with GC.

Yes, it can be done. Basically, you have to show that the work experience is at least the equivalent of a College degree. There are people, called "evaluators" (or something like that) that analyse all the credentials and work experiences to determine that equivalence. Immigration attorneys know how to use those "evaluators" whose "evaluations" are usually accepted by USCIS.
