As a PMP who works in a large corporation let me give you another side of the story.
1. PMP certification can get you a PM job and boost your earnings but if you hate having to deal with lots of people PM job is not for you.
2. PMP is for large projects in large corporations. If you like working in fast paced tech companies stay away from PMP. Basically PMP is meant to manage all the fluff that exists in large corporations.
3. Also, be ready for insults from technical staff. They treat PM's like idiots and quite frankly a lot of PM's are merely schedule jockeys. Very few PM's are true to their profession.
4. Bottomline: $500 is worth the investment. Do not shy away from it if you like PM kind of work.

I tend to agree too that nothing will happen, too much talking, too much BS, but, I can only hope that the republicans know that they can loose the house control, so, maybe they will prefer to have something more conservative than nothing.

BUt keep in mind that when you enroll in a GROUP insurance which is typically your new insruance with you new company..most of the companies DONT have any restrictions on the pre existing condnitions, per my experience.
however if you buy a individual pocliy they will unload on you a TON of restrictions...no wonder why we see many old people working in Walmart and other places just for insurance..God save us when we get old :)

I just called USCIS today and the officer told me that they haven't scheduled our biometrics yet since they are overwhelmed with the applications. She said I should wait till next year.
Also inquired about my name check and she said that they've started it and it's still pending...
Only option is to wait it out as always...

EB2 visa numbers are not given to EB2... Are those number given to EB3 ROW ?

Let us see if we can get at least 200 people who vote on this. Many the great souls are talking about complaining to USCIS about EB1s getting GCs using shortcuts. Some of them suggested LET US write to ombudsman office and USCIS & blah blah. Let us see how many folks come forward and vote for this.

Guys, there is real substance to what oscarzumaran says as well......
It is not fair to shout at him unless u understand the issue bereft of any emotions.
I think the AZ is the right thing to force illegal immigrants out of AZ since its bringing the economy down to its knees.
Moreover the AZ law is excatly the same as the current Federal law, its just that AZ is implementing it thru a state law, so why shd the feds object to it.
If you folks think that AZ law is wrong then why should other sanctuary states who prevent illegals from been sent back be allowed to pre-empt the fed law , even these states should be challenged.
We legal citizens are required by fed law to carry legal docs at any time(even though u may not like it), AZ is just enforcing the law
IV is all about legal immigration and does not support illegal immigration as I know it, Its a folly to think that if we support the feds they will support legal immigration and give GC's faster......Can anyone be 100% sure that the politicians will not drop the legal provisions from CIR just to get some votes to get the illegal immigrations laws in CIR thru......havent u seen how the healthcare bill was passed

I think you are missing the point cbpds.........Oscarzumaran is entitled to his opinion and so are others. What many of us are trying to say is that don't express them here. IV team has repeatedly said that antagonizing any other immigration based group (illegal, family based, asylum, even anti immigrants!!) does not help us in our march to get what we want. By talking ill of the other group, we are actually hurting ourselves. Time and time again, it has been proved that being united works better compared to being divided. Why do we want to gain the wrath of any group unnecessarily? Its not like IV is working on undocumented issues........
Anybody can have any opinion he/she chooses to have. But don't share the opinion in a forum where the leaders are requesting/asking not to do so for the good of our advocacy.
And also, IV is for legal immigrants. Period. I don't believe it has a stand on illegal immigration. Period. There is a huge difference between the two.

Transit Visa need to Travel Via-Germany if you don't have valid Visa or Travelling on AP.
Please who are travelling Via---> Germany should hold Transit visa, if they don't have Valid US Visa or using AP.
I believe this rule came recently, please see below link of German Consulate Website for more information.
German Missions in the United States - Transit Visa Country List (http://www.germany.info/Vertretung/usa/en/04__Legal/02__Directory__Services/01__Visa/__Transit__Country__List__Visa.html)
This applies to people who are going to India to get Visa at Consulate in India too.
If any one is Travelling Visa- Germany (Frankfurt/Munich etc) please take necessary steps.
And this is new and most of the passengers/Airport people might not be aware, better be safe than sorry later.

I have a question for you. You said in your post below that your 485 was approved end of september 2008. But I thought the visa numbers were already exhausted by august 21 2008 for eb2 india. Are u sure you got approved in end of September 2008 and not in august, did you actually get an email end of september or your LUD on 485 was actually end of september. Please dont get me wrong, I am not questioning your sincerity, I am just trying to understand if infact some case were approved in september as well for eb2 india.
Its a small good news. I got similar status update last year sometime in Aug/Sept before my I-485 was finally approved around end of Sept '08. My case was originally filed at CSC and then was transferred to NSC. I got this message when NSC finally picked up my transferred case, dusted it off an (I'm guessing) input it in their system. Most likely your cases went the similar route and now they have been finally picked up by the destination center for processing.

The DREAM act is specific in that it only applies if you can prove you came here and still remain in ILLegal status. I have a son who aged out a year and a half ago. I CANNOT support an act that gives an illegal child of the same age a path to green card that does not provide at least the same for him. If we can get the act amended to include all children who do not have a path to residency and ultimately citizenship that would be OK.
